Driver Education for Park City School District

Park City School District provides a comprehensive, professional driver education pathway for our community's teens. We offer a complete, state-approved program including our online classroom curriculum, certified behind-the-wheel instructor drive sessions, and the final road skills examination.

The Licensing Roadmap:

1. Obtain your learner's permit via the Utah DLD.
2. Fulfill Your Theory Coursework:

Full Package Students: You will complete the AAA and StreetSmarts online modules, which include the state-mandated Railroad Safety and Air Pollution Mitigation (HB 331) instruction. Your driving calendar will unlock automatically once both certificates are uploaded and approved.

Transfer Students: You must upload a valid 30-Hour Classroom Completion Certificate from an approved external driver education program to your student portal for administrator verification.

3. Complete your mandatory behind-the-wheel training with our certified instructors.
4. Take and pass your final practical road skills test with our team.

⚠️ Enrollment Requirements & Eligibility

Registration is strictly restricted to active high school students who currently attend school or reside full-time within the boundaries of the Park City School District. Individuals who have already graduated high school are not eligible to enroll.

Permit Prerequisite: Students must possess a valid Utah learner's permit before registering for any program package. If you do not have a permit, please complete your testing at a local Utah DLD office prior to enrollment.

Notice: All credentials are verified by administration. Inaccurate submissions result in automatic removal from the training queue.
